Chitika Shoplinc

I was browsing around the Chitika site today doing some research on the program, and I looked at something I had never really considered before. As some of you may know, the eMini Mall is Chitika's flagship product, and the one that people normally use. It's known to be a pretty good revenue generator when used properly, and people such as Darren Rowse over at Problogger have sung its praises.

Today though, I'm going to look at the shoplinc. A shoplinc is basically an online store, which you can customize and choose categories for. What I can compare it to the most is an Amazon Astore, but it's already all set up. All you basically have to do is pick colors and categories, and it takes care of the rest. You then pick tools to promote it. The one I've decided to use is just on the sidebar.

Just a basic shop cloud, but when you click thru, you'll see the whole store. It could pay off quite well. Thats just another advantage that Chitika has over widgetbucks, more ways to make money online. If you're a Chitika publisher, you have access to this. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Welcome

Hi everyone, and welcome to the second part of my testing series, the Chitika Testing blog. If you've come here from the other blog, you'll know that I'm testing to see which one will make more money. The blogs will essentially look the same, with slightly different content (can't have google penalizing me now, can I?

For anyone who doesn't know, Chitika is a system for making money online. Their flagship product, the eMinimall, is extremely popular and is endorsed by probloggers such as Darren Rowse. For the sake of this comparison, I'll do my best to make sure that the ads are similar and in roughly the same locations to check how well they convert. I probably should have mentioned on the other blog that I will be providing weekly or bi-weekly reports on the earnings from these sites. Hopefully this experience will be fun and rewarding!
